Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) celebrates 50th Anniversary of Scientist Path
'Meditation Pavilion', designed by Architect Lee Jung-hoon.
Present is Gift from the Past.
The Pavilion named Meditation is an inspiring space. Scientists ponder silently on the path in mankind's advancement.
A monumental cube is 3,650mm in 3D, which reflects KIST's Backward 50 and Forward 50.
The words of renowned scientists and Dr. Choi Hyeong-Seop, the first director of KIST are carved on Ultra-High-Performance Concrete Panels.
